Chicago Public Schools and University of Illinois Joint Committee on College Readiness and Success

What is the project:
Chicago Public Schools and the University of Illinois are committed to a partnership that is led by this joint committee.  The overarching goal for the committee is to promote success for CPS graduates at the University of Illinois by increasing the number of students from the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) who enroll in and graduate from the campuses of the University of Illinois.  A second intended outcome is to have a broader impact of encouraging a greater number of Chicago Public School students to attend college, while seriously considering application to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of Illinois at Chicago, and University of Illinois Springfield.
